The Foundation of Samvedna depends upon the very essence of human nature- care & empathy. Since its inception in 2009 by 3 like-minded fellas, Mr. Subhash Gupta, Chairman, Our Late President Sh. Ravinder Arora, and Dr. Vikas Jindal, General Secretary, Samvedna has gone a long way of saving & enriching lives. The idea of Samvedna first came to light when these 3 friends witnessed a roadside accident on their way to Kashmir & realized it took long hours for an ambulance to reach the spot. Saddened with the incident they returned home & decided to initiate a free ambulance service all over Ludhiana.
Started with only 2 ambulances, Samvedna Trust (Regd.) now has 7 ambulances and is breaking new grounds in the field of healthcare & medicine. With a head start in October 2009, Samvedna trust has never looked back & has continuously worked as an effective workforce in the healthcare industry. Primarily run by a charity, Samvedna NGO serves 24X7 poor & helpless sections of the society. Our 7 Ambulances include 3 Wingers, 1 Force, 2 Eco, 1 Maruti Omni, and also, 2 Mortutary Vans like 407, 709 & De freezers.
Our trust has helped in shifting more than 32041 patients & 11379 deceased have been shifted as per 10-12-2020. A total of 1622 of time’s mobile mortuary.To continue our legacy of care & commitment, we offer free ambulance services to the beneficiaries within a radius of 40 Kms in Ludhiana. Associated with the civil hospitals, ambulance staff, certified Doctors & nurses are highly passionate when it comes to humanity & saving lives. Our team of dedicated professionals was also involved in the creation of a covid cremation cell with civil administration, and we didn’t stop here. We were at the frontline & distributed PPE Kits, Rations, Sanitizers, & other necessary means to combat corona.
Our late president Mr. Ravinder Arora was awarded twice; First by the CM of Punjab S. Prakash Singh Badal for the exemplary services provided by Samvedna Trust and the second, by the Health Minister of Punjab Sh. Surjit Jiani Ji. Recognized by The Indian express in the tribute to the heroes of the 9/11 program by the one & only
Our team of Samvedna Trust also works towards giving wings of education to the children. We have jointly worked with Braille Blind Bhawan and fulfilled the sanitary needs of all the goverment schools for girls in Hoshiarpur. Loaded with advanced medical equipment, Samvedna always strives to save lives. Samvedna Trust aims to reduce the load of healthcare system & improve the safety & livelihood of the people. Our journey of saving lives & promoting better healthcare system will never stop & go beyond the boundaries of Ludhiana.
